    National Cyber Security Centre (UK)

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the United Kingdom’s technical authority on cyber incidents, operating as part of GCHQ since its formation in 2016 to provide a unified national response to cyber threats. The NCSC supports both public and private sectors by offering guidance, incident response, and technical expertise to reduce the risk of cyber attacks and to help make the UK the safest place to live and work online. Acting as the country’s computer security incident response team (CSIRT), the NCSC monitors threats, issues early warnings, coordinates with international partners, and serves as the single point of contact for cyber incidents, ensuring a coordinated and resilient national approach to cyber security.
